For students, this is Sweden.

This is a series of shorter trips around the area of Borlänge, each trip will include basic information about allemansrätten, gear, hiking, the trailsystems and so on. A good start before you before you begin you own self-guided explorations of our beutiful nature.

Basically a perfect introduction to the swedish nature and wildlife to an affordable cost.

We can also arrange overnighting in simple cabins, combined with mushroom/berry picking or other activities depending on the season.

7 days in Sarek

A long awaited journey will soon set off for 2 of our guides.

The last great wilderness of europe is located in the north of sweden, well above the arctic circle. And we will explore it for 7 days, no roads, no trails, no huts. Just us and the great wilderness.

The journey will take place within the month depending on some minor logistic trouble.

We originally planned to hike the kings trail from Abisko to Kebnekaise but decides pretty last minute that the area would propably have too many tourits this time of season.

To find the true wild we decided to aim for Sarek national park instead, 7 days is a short hike in the area and we will have trouble to explore the whole area in that time but the Raapavalley and the glaciers are our main goal. Hopefully we will also have some time to climb a few mountains also.

Were about to get up and running slowly for the season of 2016. Thought that i should let you in on the progress during the time.

The idea behind DalaOutdoor is also an experiment to promote swedish nature and wildlife that anyone can afford.

Many of the nature tours are expensive for the normal tourist or student, which means that a large number of nature intrerested people in sweden just cant afford a tour.

Our tours will provide you with the essentials, a guide who knows the area. You will bring the rest to make your experience complete. Most of our tours doesnt need any special equiment.

We have already a variety of scenic places and activities fit for the whole family and will keep on preparing and trying out new stuff during the year.

This year we will also continue our work with other partners and keep on spreading our ideas to the public.
